Dean BirdersDifferent feeders suit different types of birds, so its important to have a mix in your garden. If you rely entirely on hanging feeders then you will find the ground feeding birds such as Dunnocks, Robins and Blackbirds will have to make do with the fallen seed lost by hungry finches!
Don't forget to have some water available for your birds. Even if you don't have a nice bird bath, put out a shallow dish with water, and remember to change it regularly.
Although its hard work you should try to keep your feeding stations clean and don't leave old seed around for too long.
