Before the end of 2003 Bob Bushell lived in Upper Lydbrook.  It was there that as he slowly recovered from a severe stroke he found birdwatching as an activity that gave him a new lease of life and a focus.  His birdwatching has gone on to be the driving force of his daily life, particularly since having to move to Lydney.  Thankfully, nowadays though access to a good quality electric scooter to get about, and a superb Canon digital camera, he is able to combine his birdwatching with a passion for photography to produce the many fine photographs you see on his daily record pages.  The images below represent the starting point - photos from a Web Camera into his old garden as he began to emerge from the mental fog of the hemmoragic stroke and to learn to compensate for the loss of use of his right arm ....
